At Chisombezi School 850 girls need training and Lotus packs. Chanasa is completing this in groups of 100 girls at a time. These pictures are from the first group of 100 to be trained alongisde the staff, their mothers and some boys.
The building work has started at Chisombezi School. A toilet block with four toilets and 2 changing rooms is being constructed.The soak pit and foundations have been completed.
Elizabeth Mtemba and some of the group leaders Constance, Chifundo and Agness went to Chisombezi School today, 18 March 2020, to teach the Mothers' Group how to make reusuable sanitary pads. Elizabeth says: "There were 11 women and the training went on well.
We are shipping 1,500 pairs of panties (donated by Smalls for All in Scotland) to Malawi for the Lotus packs for School girlsin a barrel for the first time. Jean, Derrie and Edward have helped Susan to do the packing.

Lotus packs were given out to over 200 girls at Chikuli School by a team from Gift of the Givers, Chanasa and Chifundo. The packs were explained to the girls, each was presented with one and then the newly built washrooms were handed over to the girls. This gives them somewhere to wash and chan
