A very special tea party took place on Saturday 5 April 2025 at Hoole URC Church to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Chifundo UK being registered as a charity.  The party was a Thank You to all who have supported Chifundo UK in many different ways - helping with stalls, coffee mornings, fashion shows and concerts, supporting events and buying products, the donation of time or money.  We all enjoyed sweet and savoury treats and many cups of tea!  Akuzike Kamwanja, who worked with Chanasa in Malawi in 2016 and is currently studying for a PhD at the University of Newcastle, spoke on the subject of 'Broken Dreams' - restoring the dreams of girls and women through education and training and giving them hope.
