Esther Masi is the Chairperson of Chanasa. She is an ambitious and qualified marketeer with years of experience in marketing and brand management. She has also studied computer science and she is passionate about mentoring girls and inspiring them to break free from stereotypes. She is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK and Institute of Marketing Malawi (IMM).
Dr Mary Shawa is the Honorary President of Chanasa. Dr Mary Shawa has recently reitred from her post as Chief Director in the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. Having worked as a Secretary for Nutrition, HIV and AIDS; and Secretary for Gender, Children, Disability and Social Welfare. She is the Chair for Finance and Administration for the Regional University Forum for Research and Development (RUFORUM) in agriculture and she also chairs a numbers of organisations' trustees and boards.
Gloria Makunje is a trustee of Chanasa. Gloria is a vibrant business lady with a big heart for charity. She is the Director of the Eyenet Business Centre in Blantyre. She is also the Executive Director of the Convoy of Hope Foundation ministry and a lay leader in the Anglican Church in Blantyre. She is Treasurer for the National Cancer Association of Malawi and the Fundraising Chairperson for Women in the Anglican Diocese of Southern Malawi.
Sabina Kulasinghe is Treasurer of Chanasa. Sabina is an accountant by profession and also studied business management and human resources. She is mother to a son of 18 years, a daughter of 15 years and another daughter of 11 years. Sabina works part time with an NGO organization call Computers For Malawian schools, which donates and educates students in the government schools in IT Education.
Lynette Moulder is a trustee of Chanasa. She was born in Rhodesia now known as Zimbabwe emigrating to Malawi in the 70s where she lived until 1999 when she moved to Stockport, England with her family. She enjoys travelling and meeting people from different background and cultures. When at home, she enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with my family and friends. Lyette loves supporting and giving back into the community, she take pride in raising awareness of gender-based violence particularly within marginalised communities.
Chifundo Saweluzika is the Women's Representative Trustee and has been chosen by the women to represent them. Chifundo has been a member of Chanasa for 9 years and is a group leader at Chilomoni. She trained at The Beehive in 2016 and has a Certificate in Tailoring and Designing. She is married with 2 children. She is hard working and always strive to achieve the highest standard possible at any given task and any situation. She is accustomed to working in a challenging and fast paced environment particularly when dealing with multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
