Yesterday morning the trustees of Chanasa met at Sabina's house. Sabina is Treasurer of Chanasa. In the afternoon the 6 monthly women’s meeting took place at Soche East. At this the women explained to the trustees about the small savings/loans scheme they have set up which they are funding and running themselves. Akuzike, a past manager with Chanasa, and a friend then explained what they were doing. The women enjoyed samosas, cakes and soft drinks. There was singing and dancing, prayers and much taking of photos. Products were collected and paid for.  The women had their bus fares refunded.
