Women Making a Difference had a stall at the Chester Fairtrade Fun Day in the Grosvenor Park, Chester on Saturday 4 March 2017. The stall sold products made by Chanasa in Malawi and by the sewing group in Chester and took £100. Women Making a Difference and Chifundo trustees manned the stall and an enjoyable, if cold, time was had by all.

Susan has sent some more pictures of a meeting she had yesterday with the women at Ndirande and at Soche East.
Susan is in Malawi and has run workshops for Ndirande and Soche East groups and for Chilomoni and the Tailors teach them how to make a reversible messenger bag.
We have had a successful time with stalls at various Christmas Fairs in the North West. Susan has also given an illustrated talk with a sales table.
Thank you to all who helped make the Autumn Fair such a great success. £449 was raised for the work of Chifundo in Malawi.

The 2016 AGM of Chanasa took place on Sunday 4 September in Soche East, Blantyre, Malawi. Women from all the groups were represented along with Akuzikie, Judith, Susan and other trustees. The photos are of Judith and Akuzikie at the front, the women at the meeting and Akuzikie showing the material form MUST (Malawi University of Science and Technology) from which Chanasa have been asked to make sample products.
