Gill Phillips worked as a land use planner in London and the North-west of the UK. She has experience of housing regeneration, land use strategy development at county and regional levels, European policy and bid preparation for funding, environment and climate change policy, and preparation of a waste management strategy. Since retirement she has studied and been awarded an MA and PhD in English Literature. Her involvement in Chifundo’s work is through friends and she has a particular interest in the Lotus Project.
